Out of the box the Remerx Master Disc clincher wheels are robust (for robust read heavy) – weighing in at a princely 2230grams (1040g front and 1190g rear). The black rims with white decals, black steel spokes and bright red aluminium Remerx hubs make the wheelset a good looking prospect, and they are a perfect match for my red Fixie Inc Pure Blood cyclocross bike. Of course, the Master Disc wheelset is available in other colour options for rims, spokes and hub too.

The rims are manufactured from lightweight double wall 6005 alloy with a modified profile, and built with stainless steel black spokes coupled to an aluminium hub body which is inset with industrial sealed bearings. The wheel set was supplied to us with Teppan Yaki stainless steel ‘floating disc’ rotors which are lightweight and have a spade design.
