BarBank Electronic Pump
BBB Cycling Launches BarBank: Their First Electronic Pump With a Built‑In Light
BBB Cycling has joined the growing list of brands offering compact electronic pumps, unveiling the new BarBank – a pocket‑sized inflator designed to take the effort out of roadside repairs. While manual pumps will always have a place – never running out of CO₂ or battery charge – there’s no denying that electronic inflators like this can make life a lot easier when you’re fixing a puncture on a wet, dark evening.

A Compact Pump With Digital Control
The BarBank is BBB’s first step into electronic inflation. At 160 grams and small enough to slip into a jersey pocket or saddlebag, it’s aimed at riders who want quick, accurate inflation without the usual arm workout.
A clear LCD display shows real‑time pressure in Bar or PSI, along with battery status. Riders can fine‑tune pressure using simple +/- buttons, or choose from three preset modes:
- Road Mode: 700×28C from 0 to 5 Bar (72.5 PSI)
- Gravel Mode: 700×40C from 0 to 3 Bar (43.5 PSI)
- MTB Mode: 29×2.35 from 0 to 2 Bar (29 PSI)

BBB says the BarBank can deliver three full inflations per charge, depending on tyre size and pressure. Charging is via USB‑C, with a claimed 30‑minute full recharge, which is impressively quick.
Universal Valve Compatibility
The pump uses a universal head compatible with Presta, Schrader, Dunlop, and BBB’s own CoreCap valves; no adapters required. A flexible hose is included for TPU tubes or awkward valve positions.
Maximum output is 8.25 Bar/120 PSI, so it should handle everything from high‑pressure road tyres to high‑volume MTB rubber.
A Built‑In LED for Night‑Time Repairs
The standout feature – and one that genuinely solves a real‑world problem – is the integrated LED torch. Anyone who has tried to locate a valve or inspect a tyre on a dark roadside will appreciate this. For commuters, winter riders, and endurance cyclists, it’s a thoughtful addition that sets the BarBank apart from other electronic pumps.

BarBank First Impressions
Electronic pumps aren’t replacing the trusty mini‑pump any time soon – manual pumps never run out of charge or gas. But for riders who value convenience, accuracy, and a bit of tech‑assisted comfort, the BarBank looks like a smart addition to the saddlebag.
We’ll be trying to get one in for testing soon to see how it performs in the real world, especially when the weather turns grim and the light disappears.
