Fabric introduces Gripper V2
Gripper V2: a tougher, cleaner take on the everyday bidon
Fabric has expanded its accessories range with the Gripper V2, a redesigned bidon that aims to stay cleaner, taste‑free and better‑looking for longer. The brand built the new bottle around two rider frustrations: lingering smells and peeling graphics.

The biggest update sits inside the material itself. Fabric now mixes a permanent anti‑microbial agent into the bottle body. So stopping the familiar build‑up of odours and off‑tastes that appear after months of use. Riders who regularly switch between water, electrolytes and energy drink mixes should notice the difference straight away.
The Gripper V2 keeps the practical features that made the original popular. The dotted, non‑slip texture around the neck gives a confident hold when you’re grabbing the bottle at speed or with wet gloves. The BPA‑free body stays soft and easy to squeeze, and the high‑flow silicone valve delivers a quick drink without drips.
Fabric also tackled the issue of graphics that fade or peel. Instead of printed logos, the Gripper V2 uses an embossed design that stays sharp as the bottle wears. The more miles you put in, the more the logo stands out.

Brand Manager Florian Bont says the updates were aimed squarely at two common rider complaints: lingering taste and short‑lived graphics. Embedding both the anti‑microbial agent and the logo into the bottle material is Fabric’s attempt to make a bottle that stays fresh and looks clean for longer.
