On-line brand Canyon are having their first ever UK brand experience day. This is a chance to get up close up and personal with their bikes.
As an on-line brand one of the problems is getting a look at their bikes before you buy one. Sure there are plenty of reviews saying how great they are; we’ve reviewed the Ultimate CF SLX , Nerve Al 9 and taken the Aeroad out for a brief spin, but events like these give riders a chance to see and ride the bikes. We went to an Mtb specific event in the Forest of Dean in 2017 and found these events really useful.
Canyon’s Brand Experience day will take place over two days at Mercedes-Benz World, at Brooklands in Surrey on the 24th & 25th March 2018. Over forty bikes will be on display, with mix of 2018 and ‘iconic historic and concept’ bikes.
Canyon’s Nick Allen says; “We’re super excited to be hosting the first ever brand experience event in the UK. Because of the size of the space, we’re able to offer Canyon fans and potential customers the opportunity to get up close with a huge range of our 2018 bikes and check out iconic bikes from Canyon’s history.”
Canyon will have a selection of demo bikes available over the two days, a good chance to try before you buy! Canyon are also planning a series of talks by their engineers and sponsored athletes, details will be made available soon; a real treat for bike geeks!
Canyon will also be hosting a special exhibition of photography by Tino Pohlmann marking the last eleven years of Canyon bikes being ridden in the pro peloton – the Canyon story so far through the lens of a world-class cycling photographer and close friend of the brand since 2007.
