This is a great bike for the long distance endurance challenge of ULTRACROSS and I am really looking forward to taking it the 58 mile White Chalk Hills 1066 UCX we have planned for late April – I’m even considering a campaign on the 3 peaks. I will also present it at the London CX League when the season begins again in the autumn.

Over time I intend to replace the Shimano 105 components with Ultegra so that I can rebuild my winter road bike but there’s no urgency for that.

With the message “FIXIE INC. 2013 REBOOT COMING THIS SUMMER” on the cycles-for-heroes website and sneaky peak updates appearing on Facebook of new bikes from Fixie Inc. on the horizon there’s hope yet for the future of the German brand and I am looking forward to the launch.
