Unique to the Argon 18 frameset range at this level is the integrated BB86 bottom bracket and 3D headtube. The 3D headtube needs some introduction but instead of me parroting second hand information watch the intro video:

 

 

Argon say that their exclusive frame mould offers maximum “global stiffness” along with massive asymmetric chainstays in the bottom bracket, which is very bulky, and headtube areas. The 3D Headtube, perfect for adjustment of handlebar height of every rider, enhances front-end stiffness.

I’ve got no real reason to doubt that, but the relatively short amount of time spent on the bike hardly offered me an objective comparison with any other frame that I have ridden. What I will say though is that the ride felt incredibly stable and planted giving you that confidence and imperative to go just that little faster…
