Alchemy Bikes in the UK

Custom brands like custom shops. Mosquito in North London is certainly a custom shop – it boasts three Serotta International Cycling Institute bike fitters among its knowledgeable staff. Alchemy Bikes of Denver, Colorado, manufacture framesets using stainless steel and carbon fibre. It’s a sort of old school, new school approach but interestingly these are the materials which they claim yield the highest quality frames available. With that in mind they offer a lifetime warranty on all frames for defects in craftsmanship for as long as you own the frame. Plus they have a crash replacement scheme affording a 40% discount on a replacement frame.

They have a good reputation as well; their Arion aero frameset won ‘Best Carbon Fibre Frame’ at the 2012 North American Handmade Bike Show, and so its a natural fit for Mosquito, who have a great reputation for bike-fitting expertise and custom bike-building and will be at Bespoked Bristol, the UK Handmade Bike Show….(continued on page 2) >
