Pere Triathlon Suit

Budding Brownlee brothers now catered for with the Pere Triathlon Suit.

We tested a set of children’s cycling kit from Pere Performance Wear back in the summer and have now received one of their triathlon suits. With winter setting in we’ll probably be hard pushed to find a mini Brownlee brave enough to wear it, but we’ll try!

Pere produce a range of running, cycling and triathlon kit for children. No compromises have been made on material choices, you’ll find the same quality here as on your own kit. The same can be said for construction, with double stitching, silicon leg grippers and zip plackets to protect little necks.

The triathlon suit also includes a very minimalist seat pad, which was a revelation to me – as a cyclist I’d always wondered what triathletes wore under their suits! With nice little touches like the motivational “…be the winner” printed label and the embossed Pere logo on the leg grippers, the Pere Triathlon Suit is a proper piece of technical clothing.

Sizes are from 5 to 12 years, so you should be able to find one to fit your budding triathlete, but check the size guide on the Pere website to make sure you get a good fit. Retailing at £58 the Pere Triathlon Suit is a serious bit of kit for serious, mini-athletes. We’ll bring you a review once we’ve found a triathlete of the right size.
