Photos by Chris Callanan at the first stage of the Amgen Tour of California
Chris was at the first stage of the Amgen Tour of California and spotted a few interesting things in the Tour’s Lifestyle Festival and ‘pits’ area…
Belkin had Sep Vanmarcke’s Paris Roubaix Bianchi on display, complete with authentic dirt and Pioneer power measurement, whilst Chris was also interested in how the BMC riders all seem to be on different bikes. Garmin looked to have had a chain issue during the stage and, though we are not sure which team they are to sponsor next year, Boo had a couple of very cool bamboo bikes ready to go including a disc braked road bike.
