Airstreeem, the Austrian brand, launches officially in the UK at the Cycle Show.
We have tested a couple of their products and liked them a lot, so have a look back at our previous articles on the brand’s history, the Race SL Preview and the full Review, and our test of the very light Team SL33 Wheels.
Airstreeem, founded in 2008 by former KTM Pro Continental team rider, Stefan Probst, is now launching officially in the UK. The Airstreeem range features 8 ultra-light aerodynamic frames complemented by 8 wheelsets that utilise smooth wall carbon technology, all hand built in Austria. Airstreeem frames come with a reassuring 12-year warranty period.
They have some interesting kit, including the carbon Aero 50 wheels, which benefit from a unique non-touching, double spoke design and use a specially coated rim that affords a 27% shorter braking distance from 40mph, along with significantly reduced braking temperatures. They are also available in multiple colour options to perfectly match your frame. Other notables on display will be the Triple E SL Team road bike which is distinguished by the use of super smooth carbon wall technology.
