BBB Cycling introduces the Arc FLUX: A sleeker, sustainable addition to its performance eyewear line

BBB Cycling may be best known for its components, tools and accessories, but the Dutch brand also has clothing, helmets and eyewear. Now, with its latest release, the Arc FLUX, brings the company’s newest lens technology into a more compact, lightweight package designed for modern riders.

A New Chapter in BBB’s FLUX Eyewear Range

The Arc FLUX builds on the success of its Valor FLUX glasses. In particular, the new design uses the same high‑contrast FLUX lens technology introduced in 2025. However, the new model focuses on a slimmer silhouette and reduced weight, without compromising optical performance.

The frame is constructed from bio‑based Rilsan. This is a castor‑oil‑derived polymer that supports BBB Cycling’s sustainability goals while keeping the glasses light. The FLUX lens itself is engineered to boost contrast and definition across variable light conditions. This should make it ideal for fast‑changing terrain or mixed‑weather riding. Anti‑fog and oleophobic coatings help maintain clarity during hard efforts or wet conditions. 

What’s an oleophobic coating? An oleophobic coating is a thin, transparent layer, often fluoropolymer-based, applied to surfaces to repel oil, grease, and water. T makes them smooth and easy to clean by preventing fingerprints and smudges from sticking.

Fit, Stability and Real‑World Versatility

BBB Cycling has equipped the Arc FLUX with a dual‑size interchangeable nosepiece system, allowing riders to fine‑tune fit and stability. Each pair also includes a clear spare lens, making the glasses suitable for low‑light training, night riding or winter conditions.

VolkerWessels Women’s ProTeam and Arc Flux

Dutch UCI Women’s ProTeam VolkerWessels will be wearing the Arc FLUX during 2026. As their official eyewear sponsor the partnership makes a lot of sense, as both have Dutch roots. And BBB Cycling will be able to use the team as a test-bed for future developments.
