The London Bike Show 2014 – Part 1

The London Bike Show has free beer, plenty of brands and products on show and runs from 13 – 16th February at the Excel Centre, London; obviously we were there.

We headed to the Show to assist with the races (see BritishCycleSport.com’s coverage on Saturday and Sunday) and found ourselves drawn to the many fine products and brands on show.

Popular with many was the free non-alcoholic beer being given out by Erdinger, a drink that is marketed as Isotonic in Germany, and is a firm after ride favourite of mine.

In addition to much glittering cycling kit there’s action from trials and BMX, a test track and criterium racing with super-quick 35-second laps.

On the second day of the show an industry duo from Apire and Canyon took on an Army team, and whilst honours edged in the favour of the industry, the Army challenged them to a return match using the tools of their trade; “Erk!” was one comment.
