Dynamic Bike Care

Dynamic Bike Care: Real-World Testing Review

Thanks to the team at Dynamic Bike Care, I’ve spent the last few weeks testing a range of their products across both road and gravel bikes; plus a bit of attention to some battered white road shoes. Here’s how each product performed in the real world.

Bio Filth Fighter

Dynamic describe Bio Filth Fighter as a ready-to-use, ‘pro-level’ bike cleaner developed in conjunction with top mechanics and trusted by World Tour athletes. The biodegradable formula claims to remove mud, dust, salt, grease, and even sticky sports nutrition residue. The formulation is safe for all frame materials and finishes, including carbon, aluminum, and ceramic. Supplied in a spray bottle, it’s ideal for quick cleans or deep maintenance across road, gravel, MTB, and e-bikes.

Verdict: A solid go-to when your bike is seriously filthy.
I used this after wet and muddy gravel rides. A quick pre-rinse, spray-on, and leave-to-soak routine worked wonders. It cut through grit and grime easily; leaving the frame and components sparkling clean. While not quite as convenient as a dry cleaner, it’s perfect for deep cleans or full strip-down days.

Dirt Destroy Foam

Dirt Destroy Foam, just spray it on, wait and then wipe clean; sound too good to be true? The instructions say to cover what you’re cleaning in an even layer of foam, then wait for a couple of minutes. After this you can ‘work it in‘ with a microfibre towel or soft brush. Then rinse with water or wipe dry with a clean, dry microfibre towel. Dynamic say its ingredients are safe to use on all bike components and materials; rubber, carbon, aluminium and steel. So safe that you can also use it on your shoes and helmet.

Verdict: Game-changer for quick, dry cleans.
This has quickly become my favourite everyday cleaner. You don’t need water, just spray it on, let it sit a minute or two and wipe off the grime. It’s brilliant on sweat, energy drink residue, or gel stickiness that you’d normally fear would strip paint. Also, it smells great! I’ve been using it post-road rides for quick wipe-downs and couldn’t be happier.

Wipe Out – Rim Sealant Remover

Wipe Out claims to deal with the inevitable build-up you get from running a tubeless set-up. The remover is applied to a cloth and then rubbed in and left to work for 2-3 minutes. After this you can rinse it off with water, scrubbing any big really stubborn deposits. Dynamic say that the ingredients are fully biodegradable and 100% safe for all materials, paints and finishes. However a couple of warnings are not to apply in ‘direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.‘ They also suggest testing first on ‘non-factory paintjobs‘.

Verdict: Essential for tubeless tyre maintenance.
If you’ve ever peeled off a tyre and been horrified by dried sealant clinging to your rims, this is your solution. I used Wipe Out when swapping out a worn set of GP5000s and it lifted the old sealant with minimal elbow grease, leaving the rim tape looking brand new. Highly recommended for regular tubeless users.

Slick Wax – Drip Chain Wax

Dynamic Bike Care’s Slick Wax is a fully biodegradable all-round chain lubricant. It can be used in all weather conditions and fo alll cycling disciplines. Dynamic claim that ‘extend the life of your drive train by up to 40% and it will lastlonger on your chain than other chain waxes.‘ Thta’s no small claim and worth keeping an eye on. As with all wax lubricants you will want to start with a fully stripped chain to get the most out of it.

Verdict: Clean, quiet and durable, but how fast?
I’ve used a variety of wax lubes over the years, and this one stood out for its easy application and clean running. It topped up well on a previously hot-waxed chain, and held up admirably in both road and gravel conditions. It’s one of the quietest and cleanest waxes I’ve tried. I don’t have a chain friction tester, so I can’t verify its outright speed, but from a ride-feel and longevity standpoint, it’s very solid.

Touch Up – White Shoe Restorer

Touch Up has been ‘designed to refresh and restore the appearance of white cycling shoes‘. Seeing as white shoes are faster than any other colour, it makes sense to keep them looking good. Dynamic’s Touch Up formulation claims to work on leather, synthetic, and mixed materials. As well as cleaning, Touch Up says it can ‘hydrate, rejuvenate and prevent cracks while maintaining flexibility‘. You need to apply it to clean, dry shoes, so you could pair it with Dirt Destroy Foam.

Verdict: Unexpectedly brilliant!
My white Shimano road shoes had become more ‘off-beige’ after years of abuse; including regular use off-road. After a clean and dry, I applied this white “paint” product and was shocked by how clean and fresh they looked. It genuinely brought them back to life. If you have white shoes that are showing their age, this is well worth trying.

Barkeeper Pro – Tubeless Sealant

Barkeeper Pro is a Hi-Fibre synthetic latex formula, which Dynamic claims will seal punctures up to 8mm. It can be used in on or off-road tyres, with pressures from 1 to 8 BAR. Dynamic say that Barkeeper Pro’s ‘formula uses an optimal viscosity to enable fast and even distribution of the sealant around the tyre.‘ This should mean that as the sealant is evenly distributed around the tyre, it can seal quicker. In fact Dynamic claim that it will ‘6mm punctures at a pressure of 4 bar within 1 tyre rotation at 30 km/h. That is within less than 0.5 sec!‘ The ingredients are ammonia-free, hypo-allergenic, non-corrosive and work with with CO2 cartridges.

Verdict: Too early to judge fully, but promising.
I’ve been a long-term Silca sealant user (which has saved me on many occasions), so Barkeeper Pro has stiff competition. I’ve been testing it on both my road and gravel setups. So far? No puncture failures, and I’ve seen no spray or telltale signs, which either means it’s working perfectly, or I haven’t hit anything sharp. They claim it seals a puncture within one wheel rotation at 30 km/h, which would be impressive. More testing to come.

Dynamic Bike Care – Final Thoughts

Dynamic Bike Care has delivered a genuinely impressive product lineup. Highlights for me were the Dirt Destroy Foamfor easy maintenance, the Wipe Out for tubeless hygiene, and the Touch Up for resurrecting old shoes.

The Slick Wax is now a regular in my maintenance kit, and although it’s early days for the Barkeeper Pro, it’s showing all the signs of being a capable sealant alternative.

If you’re after cleaning and maintenance gear that just works – especially across both road and gravel disciplines – this range is well worth exploring.
