Volt eBikes will be at the Cycle Show 2023

If you’re heading to the 2023 Cycle Show, head over to British eBike brand Volt. They will be showcasing their latest and lightest folding eBike the VOLT LITE.

For commuters a bike like the VOLT LITE makes a lot of sense, whizzing you from your home, on and off public transport and into work. All this without having to build up a sweat. One of the issues the commuter will have to deal with when dealing with public transport in the UK are the rules around rush-hour: only bikes that fold are allowed. Stand by the gates of a main station and you will see folding bikes rushing onto the trains. You will also see the odd non-folder standing forlornly, waiting for seven o’clock to pass!

The VOLT LITE will allow you to join those commuters and when you have to carry your bike off the train or up to your flat, you’ll appreciate it’s other benefit: light weight. Volt say that at 16kg it’s one of the lightest folders around. Throw in an “intuitive compact folding design” and could this be the eBike for you?

The VOLT LITE won’t be the only exclusive at the Cycle Show, you can also see the PULSE SE. This is an update of their flagship PULSE bike. Volt are adding a little more off-road capability to their popular hybrid.

The current range of bikes runs to twelve models including:

The INFINITY, a premium hybrid e-bike combining a powerful Shimano Steps E6100 motor with intelligent electric gears to intuitively provide power and create a seamless experience. Retailing at £2999.

The Red-Dot design award winning VOLT LONDON, inspired by the UK’s capital and designed to create a powerful yet elegant bike that makes the perfect city rider. Retailing at £2199.

Men’s Health, Esquire, and Good Housekeeping’s number one e-bike, the high spec yet accessible classic VOLT PULSE. Retailing at £1949

Head over to their stand and not only will you get to see their bikes, but you can also sample some of their Mad Squirrel post-ride beer! This has been produced in partnership with Chiltern based brewers Mad Squirrel. Beer and bikes, now there’s a winning combination!

VOLT Founder James Metcalfe commented ‘We’re excited to be at the show this year and look forward to seeing the public’s reaction to our pre-launch models, while they enjoy a sample of Mad Squirrel and VOLT’s Post-Ride beer. The VOLT LITE, which is our super light folding e-bike, is perfect for commuters and adventurers, while the PULSE SE builds upon this near-legendary model’s existing technical excellence, enabling riders the freedom to take the bike on or off-road.’
