Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 7.0

The full width, integrated, press fit carbon fibre bottom bracket, the flattened Maximus seat tube and the laterally beefy chainstays inspire confidence that all your power is going to be used effectively.
The bottom bracket and seatstays are asymmetric. You can see this clearly below, along with the ‘concealed’ cable runs as they pass through the bottom bracket shell.
Among all of the beef, the One One Four SLX fork is an oddity, as it is a bit thin when viewed from side on, but it meets the headtube in a superbly integrated, sculpted, functional manner and looks uncompromising. It has some clever technology as well, as like the seatpost, it uses basalt fibres to increase the damping effect and should keep you feeling fresher at that critical point in your ride.
The head tube is not as long as on the previous generation and that allows for a more race oriented position; no more negative rise stems for the pros that use them? That beefy head tube is also allegedly 8% stiffer than before, promising excellent stability and cornering. The steerer tube is a wide 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 inch affair though the skinny fork makes it look even bigger.
