With their weird swoopy, Dr Seuss designed levers SRAM bring you a fully hydraulic braking system for road and cyclocross, designed to work with the new SRAM Red 22 group set. Carbon levers with aluminum calipers weighing in at 449g per unit (lever, caliper, hose and 160mm HSX rotor). A quick internet search shows that you can pick up the new SRAM disc brake unit for £429.99 (per unit) inclusive, though the cost will depend if you need to upgrade the rest of your group set to accommodate the system, pushing the price over the £2,000 marker… SRAM Red 22
