London Calling! Now into its fourth year, the Seat backed London Bike Show is being credited as the UK’s largest cycling exhibition. Taking place at ExCeL, in London over the weekend of 13 – 16 February 2014, it is being held in conjunction with The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show, the Triathlon Plus Show and the London International Dive Show (Saturday 15 – Sunday 16 February only) and one ticket will get you into all of these shows.

Now, I know as readers of CycleTechReview.com, your main area of interest is going to be the Bike Show, so what’s going to be there to see and do? Well, for starters Scott, Giant, Boardman, Canyon, Continental, HOY, Schwalbe, Rose Bikes, Muc Off, Kinesis and more will all have their new product ranges on display, and there will be the option to try some 2014 bikes out on the 500m test track.

If you’re looking to take you riding up a step in 2014 you’ll need to swing by the BikeRadar Training Hub, where you can take a series of tests and consultations all of which have been designed to enhance your performance and highlight areas where improvements can be made. Given that each session is two hours long and covers spin stroke analysis, inspiratory muscle training assessment, fitness testing, nutritional advice, core conditioning, and more, it should prove invaluable.

Of course, if you want to take it easy you could simply take timeout to watch one of the trials and stunt riding displays by the Animal WD-40 Action Sports Tour team, or go trackside at the DMR Pump Track to see the UK’s best race head to head on two 200m tracks over rollers and beams.

If that is too frantic then you can take time out to listen to one of the many talks being given at the Cycling Performance Theatre. Topics covered will include bike maintenance and tuning as well as talks from current pro cyclists and former pros, coaches and nutrition experts.

The show’s opening times are Thursday 13 February: 1pm – 8pm; Friday 14 February: 10am – 5pm; Saturday 15 February: 9am – 6pm; and Sunday 16 February: 9am – 5pm.
