Kinethic Gravel Bike
My wife and I live in Tarrega, Lleida, one of the driest parts of northern Spain; the Los Monegros desert is close by. We moved here just over 2 years ago, from Switzerland, having previously lived closer to Barcelona for a few years.
Since the big budget cuts of 2008/9 the local provincial council haven’t been salting the non-main roads in winter, so after having a quite a few of sticky moments two winters ago, I decided to get a cyclocross bike to ride on the local landrover tracks… There are literally miles of them around, and most in very good condition.
After spending the last year on a Guernecotti X-Crow, I wanted a bike that more closely resembles my BMC, and was a little stiffer than the X-Crow.
I have known Juan Enrique Vidal from Kinethic for about 25 years since we were team mates on one of Kelme’s feeder teams in the early 90’s, and I have kept in contact with him.
