The unidirectional carbon chainset is available as a cyclo-cross specific unit with hard anodized, 46-36 CX Power Glide rings. Its a wonderful piece of engineering that has something over its aluminium cousins; carbon is sexier even if it is not shinier.

Bold white SRAM graphics contrast beautifully with the dark carbon and the largest are only partially hidden by being located on the inside of the crankarms; at least at the start, pre-mud bath, everyone will know what you are riding.

The black aluminium BB30 axle is both short and stout. We are hoping to really notice the pedaling stiffness and benefit from the extra ankle room afforded by the BB30 design. SRAM claim it is 10% stiffer and 20% lighter, whilst providing a whopping 300% more ankle clearance than a standard crankset.
