The massively oversized bottom bracket, which uses Wilier’s BB93 standard, also incorparates an Aero Screen Protector to smooth the airflow over the brakes and cable. It also shields these components from dirt and water. You can also see the left hand fixing bolt for the Orbital Front Derailleur Adjustment mount.
Sideways on you can really see how deep the front ‘blades’ are; we didn’t take a tape measure with us, but they are deep! Also note the rail the saddle sits on, it allows the saddle to be positioned 10mm in front, or 20mm behind the bottom bracket.
The Wilier Twin Blade comes as a frame, fork, seatpost and brakeset and will set you back a wallet busting £3750/$6999.
