Aerobeam Titanium
Aerobeam Titanium: performance eyewear built for prescription use.
Scicon Sports has unveiled the Aerobeam Titanium, a new “premium eyewear platform”. It’s designed to offer full performance capability while accommodating prescription lenses – including high‑correction, single‑vision and progressive options.

Developed and engineered in Italy, the Aerobeam Titanium aims to bridge the gap between race‑day performance and everyday usability. The frame combines a dual‑lens Grilamid TR90 front with medical‑grade titanium temples. This keeps the weight low while maintaining durability and long‑term comfort. Scicon says the temples can be adjusted repeatedly without losing shape, and the TactiGrip inserts help keep the glasses stable during hard efforts.
A key feature is the EZSwitch lens‑change system, which allows riders to swap lenses in seconds. The Aerobeam platform supports a wide range of Scicon’s Hi‑Contrast lenses, including photochromic and polarised options. All of which are designed to improve clarity on tarmac, enhance road‑marking visibility and reduce eye strain. Ventilation is handled by the brand’s VortexFlow ports, intended to minimise fogging without compromising sun protection.

Aerobeam Titanium prescription options
For riders needing prescription support, Scicon offers several solutions: an optical insert, RX optical adapters, the PILS integrated prescription‑lens system, and full Direct RX glazing. There’s also a Reader version with discreet bifocal segments for those who only need help viewing computers or phones.

The Aerobeam Titanium has been in development for more than two years. This includes extensive testing carried out alongside UAE Team Emirates – including input from Tadej Pogačar. Scicon says the glasses were trialled in everything from Australian heat to Norwegian winter conditions to ensure real‑world reliability.

The eyewear is supported by more than 35 replaceable components, a modular approach Scicon positions as both sustainable and practical for long‑term ownership. A spare lens, protective case and cleaning pouch are included, and the standard two‑year warranty can be extended to three upon registration. Check out the Scicon Sports website for more details.
