Spinback 2025
Zwift Spinback 2025: A Year of Virtual Riding Achievements
Zwift has unveiled its annual Spinback 2025 report, celebrating the achievements of its global community of indoor cyclists. The personalised Spinback videos, now available in the Zwift Companion app, showcase how riders around the world have logged kilometres, conquered climbs, and shared social experiences throughout the year.

Record-Breaking Distances
- In 2025, Zwifters collectively rode 1.3 billion kilometres; the equivalent of circling Earth’s equator 25,000 times.
- January proved the busiest month, with 226.7 million kilometres logged as riders took advantage of winter training indoors.
Climbing and Racing Highlights
- While flatter routes like Tempus Fugit, Tick Tock, and Flat Route in Watopia topped the charts, riders still climbed an astonishing 11.5 billion metres in total.
- On 5th January alone, Zwifters ascended 78 million metres.
- Racing remained a cornerstone of the platform, with 2.2 million race activities completed, from time trials to Zwift Racing League events.
Community Spirit
- Zwifters gave out more than 545 million Ride Ons, reinforcing the platform’s reputation as a social and supportive space.
- Structured training also thrived, with 20.1 million workouts logged.

RoboPacers Keep Riders Rolling
Zwift’s RoboPacers continued to lead group rides around the clock. While faster pacers like Jacques, Genie, and Constance attracted attention, most riders preferred steady efforts with Miguel (1.8 w/kg), Maria (2.2 w/kg), and Coco (2.6 w/kg). Together, Zwifters spent nearly 500,000 hours riding with RoboPacers in 2025.
Global Riding Trends
- Free ride sessions dominated activity types, averaging 59 minutes per session.
- Germany topped the leaderboard for longest average rides at 62 minutes, while UK riders averaged 55 minutes.
- Cultural differences emerged: Japan led in generosity with an average of 892 Ride Ons per rider, while French Zwifters gave just 144 Ride Ons each.

Events and Engagement
Major events such as Tour de Zwift, Zwift Unlocked, and The Big Spin drew the largest participation numbers, highlighting the platform’s ability to blend training with community-driven challenges.
