TRP Parabox

The YouTube video for the fitting of the TRP Parabox system looks like even more of a faff than the Hope one… Still they should offer comparable performance to the Hope Tech V-twin system though slightly cheaper with a package that includes the rotors for £299.99. The system weights 451g with an additional 85g per rotor. TRP Parabox

TRP HY/RD

A sort of a plug and play version of the Parabox system. The master cylinder hydraulic system is contained within the caliper, cable actuated from your normal levers. The caliper benefits from the same hydraulic self-adjustment as the Parabox system above and from compatibility with current mechanical road/cyclocross brake levers. This disc brake option is proving to be incredibly popular since their launch in April this year with demand outstripping availability each time a shipment arrives in the UK. For £109.99 including rotors this presents an affordable and attractive upgrade to semi-hydraulic braking, again making use of your current levers. TRP HY/RD

TRP HY-RD

The clever TRP HY/RD promises to deliver the power and modulation of hydraulic disc brakes, yet be compatible with any cable actuated lever system

Whyte Suffolk sports TRP Hy/Rd disc brake at rear as well

The Whyte Suffolk we rode recently sported TRP HY/RD disc brakes which were very powerful out on the road
