Corsa Light Helmet
Ekoi launches reflective finish for Corsa Light helmet
French brand Ekoi has updated its lightweight Corsa Light helmet with a new fully reflective finish, designed to boost rider visibility in low-light conditions. The helmet, already known for its lightweight construction and ventilation, now combines performance with enhanced safety features.

Corsa Light Helmet Key features
- Weight: just 195 g (size S/M), making it one of the lightest helmets available
- Ventilation: 24 vents for airflow, ideal in hot conditions
- Visibility: 360° reflective shell paired with an integrated rear LED
- Construction: one-piece in-mould shell for strength-to-weight efficiency
- Fit and comfort: occipital retention system with vertical adjustment, indexed micro-dial, ventilated straps, COOLMAX pads, anti-chafe chinstrap pad
Tested in the field
Ultra-distance rider and BikingMan founder Axel Carion has logged thousands of kilometres in the Corsa Light. He highlights three reasons for sticking with it:
- Lightweight design reduces neck strain over long rides
- Ventilation keeps the helmet comfortable in extreme heat
- Reflective finish and rear LED provide crucial visibility when riding through the night

Versatility
Ekoi positions the Corsa Light as a helmet for all-round use from high-temperature rides to long-distance adventures. The reflective finish makes it particularly appealing for commuters, endurance riders and anyone training at dawn or dusk.
Ekoi’s decision to add a fully reflective finish plus an integrated rear LED to the Corsa Light is notable because it combines visibility with record-low weight (195 g). Most reflective helmets, like the Proviz REFLECT360, trade off visibility for bulk, making them less appealing to performance-focused riders. By contrast, Ekoi is targeting endurance and racing cyclists who want safety without compromising aerodynamics or comfort.

Ekoi is a French cycling brand known for its innovative helmets, clothing, and accessories, with a strong presence in professional racing and endurance cycling. Founded in the early 2000s in France, Ekoi often experiments with new materials and designs, such as reflective finishes, integrated LEDs, and aerodynamic profiles. As they are a direct to consumer brand, you’ll often find some very tempting sales on their site. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.
