AirMach Electric Mini Inflator Pro
Muc-Off Launch the new AirMach Electric Mini Inflator Pro.
Muc-Off have upgraded their original electric mini inflator with the release of the AirMach Electric Mini Inflator Pro. If you’re not ‘au-fait’ with these new electric pumps, they’re the latest evolution of the humble bicycle pump. Gone are the days of furiously pumping tyres by hand, instead a powerful electric motor takes the strain. Using them is straightforward, you turn them on, attach them to the valve and press go. Inflation times depend on tyre size and what pressure you want, but it’s faster and way easier.

Muc-Off’s original electric inflator – can we call it an E-Pump? – was a useful accessory for riders. Small enough to fit in a jersey pocket, powerful enough to inflate a road tyre to 100psi. So what does the new AirMach Electric Mini Inflator Pro bring to the game?
AirMach Electric Mini Inflator Pro Upgrades
The most obvious improvement on the original, is a screen. The integrated LED screen provides real-time air pressure and battery level readout. The original had a coloured LED that told you roughly how much charge you had, but no way of showing pressure. While the old method of just squeezing your tyre was ok when you just needed to get home, some way of accurately showing actual pressure was needed.
The new LED screen does this, which makes it much better for situations where knowing your air-pressure is important. For me this is perfect for off-road riding. You can set your desired pressure on the screen and just let it go, it will stop when it gets to the desired pressure.
The AirMach has increased slightly in size and weight, gaining 25g and 7cm. This is down to the larger 450mAh lithium-ion battery, which can get a road tyre to 120psi. Muc-Off say the new battery can pump four tyres on one charge, but doesn’t mention what size tyre. Charging is via a mini-C connector and takes around thirty minutes. However, it still fits in your back pocket, which makes it perfect for cyclo-cross races. You can carry it with you on a sighting lap and easily add air if you need.

Alex Trimnell, CEO of Muc-Off says,
“The AirMach Electric Mini Inflator was a game-changer, and now with the Pro version we’ve taken things to the next level. The addition of the LED display, higher maximum pressure, and extended battery life makes this the ultimate upgrade for riders who want to get back riding as quickly and effortlessly as possible.”
The AirMach Electric Mini Inflator Pro body is made from aluminium, with a protective rubber outer. The pump can get hot, so that cover is needed. The knurled inflator head is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves. It is, of course, anodised pink! Included with the AirMach is the AirHose extender, which can be used for plastic valves and TPU inner tubes. Also, they’re handy for when access is restricted, like children’s bikes.
The AirMach Electric Mini Inflator Pro is the latest addition to Muc-Off’s inflation line-up. You can choose from a manual pump like the AirMach Mini or AirMach Carbon. Alternatively there’s CO2 inflator kits, or the all-in-one puncture repair and inflate power of BAM!
