Morvélo are a cycle clothing brand that like to keep pushing the envelope and there’s an endearing sense of creativity, style and fun which shines in everything they do. They are the Sussex based Rajahs of an internet based, multimedia platform approach from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo that cleverly entices people into their brand.
The Morvélo latest vimeo, video offering carries on a tradition of beautifully produced short films highlighting the Morvélo attitude and philosophy of encompassing cycling in all its forms. Two Wheels, Peace and Quiet features local friend Jon Chickens of Chickens Frame Emporium – a bespoke frame builder who was featured in the recent ‘Made in England’ publication from Push Projects.
The film captures Jon at work or feeding his chickens in his shipping container workshop, that’s nestled at the foot of the South Downs, before he takes to his own bike, the original Chickens frame, for a blast around the local trails amid the stunning Sussex landscape.
As Morvélo say “The best things in life are often simple. Riding a bike for example. Grabbing your wheels at the end of a day’s work and heading out for a quick rip, the good old fashioned way. There are times to push your limits but more importantly there are times where all you need is that simple joy of just getting out there.”
So, grab your bike, however ripped and torn the saddle and bar tape, whatever form it takes whether road, MTB, cyclocross or BMX and get out in this glorious sunshine to explore and have fun.
Oh, and don’t forget do it in style – Morvélo design and sell a range of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, cycling jerseys, bib shorts and accessories to neatly suit your type of ride just in case you hadn’t noticed.
