Orbea Terra TLT
Another Spanish entry, the Orbea Terra TLT is a great, solid looking frame made from their second tier ‘silver’ carbon lay-up, designed to give a degree of comfort. It is still plenty stiff enough though and is a race proven bike at world level.
Look X85
The creation of LOOK’s X85 represented the French company’s return to cyclo-cross a couple of years ago. Its full carbon, using LOOK’s tube to tube construction, and is disc ready. If their road frames are anything to go by it promises to be a beauty.
Kona Major Jake
British women’s cyclo-cross champion, Helen Wyman, recently wrapped up the European Cross Championship in Ipswich on the Kona Major Jake, so its obviously a great frame. Its full carbon but is only available as a cantilever frame, though that doesn’t seem to be have been an issue for Helen, so is it for you?
