Race Across Series 2026: Registration Now Open

A new season, new destinations, and more ultra-distance challenges than ever.

The Race Across Series, the global semi-supported ultra-cycling circuit founded by Arnaud Manzanini, has officially opened registration for its 2026 season. After a record-breaking 2025 that saw more than 3,400 riders take part, the series continues to expand with fresh destinations, innovative formats, and even greater challenges.

“Our ambition has always been to create events that test human limits while remaining accessible, safe and inclusive,” said Manzanini. “From newcomers riding their first 200km to seasoned athletes tackling 2,500km, every participant becomes part of a shared story of challenge and discovery.”

What’s New in 2026

  • Race Across Portugal (25–29 March): A debut event featuring rugged Atlantic landscapes and a springtime test.
  • 200km by Night: A new feature across all road events, offering riders the unique experience of tackling an overnight ultra.
  • GRAAALPS (14–19 July): The iconic gravel ultra officially joins the series, with three demanding distances across France, Italy, and Switzerland.
  • Race Across Québec (13–23 August): Canada hosts the flagship 2,500km format for the first time, cementing Québec’s role in the series.
  • Race Across Benelux (27–31 May): Formerly Race Across Belgium, now expanded to include the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
  • BTL – Beyond Time Limit: A new category recognising riders who finish outside the official cut-off, ensuring no one’s effort ends with a DNF.

Ultra-Cycling for All

Since 2018, the Race Across Series has welcomed riders of all levels, from first-time ultra participants to hardened endurance athletes. Distances range from 200km to 2,500km, on both road and gravel, with semi-autonomy balanced by Basecamps offering food, showers, beds, and organisational support.

Safety remains central to the series. The innovative Sleep Rule requires riders to rest for four hours every 36 hours, while GPS tracking and 24/7 monitoring ensure participants can push their limits responsibly.

Community and Growth

The Race Across Series is more than a race, it’s a community. Each year, 65% of participants are new riders, bringing fresh energy to the peloton. Women are increasingly at the forefront, with 2025 marking a milestone when Pauline Gaidet claimed outright victory at Race Across Spain 300km.

With eight events across nine countries and two continents, the Race Across Series is now one of the most international ultra-cycling circuits in the world. From Tour de France climbs in the Alps to the cobbles of the Benelux, the alpine beauty of Switzerland to the wilds of Québec, each event offers a unique adventure.
