It may only be the start of the year but it’s already time to start looking towards February. Why? Well that’s because the London Bike Show will be once again taking place at ExCeL. This year the show is running from 12 – 15 Feb with over 200 cycling related exhibitors confirmed.

Even better is the news that like last year one ticket gets you into more than one show. A ticket to The London Bike Show will also give you entry into three other events running alongside it at the same time: the Triathlon Show, The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show and the London International Dive Show (Saturday & Sunday only).

Potential highlights at this year’s London Bike Show include the return of a 500m test track, alongside a dedicated kid’s test track, which could be useful for those interested in the new range of kid’s bikes being launched by Sir Chris Hoy as part of his HOY range.

While for those new to the world of cycling there will be the Training & Safety Arena featuring a mock road network with Cycle Training UK and partners on hand to offer hints, tips and advice.

However, is racing is more your thing then you will be able to take advantage of the world’s only pop-up velodrome with the inclusion of StreetVelodrome as part of the show for 2015.

Another new for 2015 feature is the Innovation Lab in association with Bike Biz, which will showcase ground-breaking concept bikes, mobile apps, technology, start-ups, transport schemes and the latest innovations in safety equipment, kit, accessories and clothing.

Though if you prefer your entertainment at the more active end of the scale the Animal WD-40 Action Sports Tour will be providing displays of stunt riding and trials all weekend long.

If all of that isn’t enough to keep you occupied then there’s the chance for you to compete in the Cytech Fastest Wrench competition to find the tyre-change champion over the weekend of the show.

Finally, there’ll be the chance to get up close and personal with the latest offering from the likes of Cannondale, Boardman, Scott, Giant, Hoy Bikes, Mavic, Beacon Fell and Schwalbe, among others.
