Hitting the Wall Art Prints

Looking for something different for the cyclist in your life? Hitting the Wall could be the answer.
London based illustrator and designer, Mikey is the man behind the name and has worked for clients such as Nike and Adidas, but now he has decided to branch out with a series of prints based on his childhood passion, cycling.
The series of prints started with a one off illustration of the Queen of the Classics, Paris-Roubaix. A lover of this cycling monument Mikey says on his website, “growing up, for me, it was a race surrounded in myth and legend. Today, nothing has changed. For me, it’s the the one day on the cycling calendar that stops the clocks. One Sunday in hell. Unmissable.”
From that first illustration the collection has grown to nine prints. Hell of the North is the only race that is represented, the others represent famous riders. Mikey says he will add more prints over time and you can even suggest ideas for new images via the Hitting the Wall Team Radio, check out the link on his website.
Each print run is limited to two hundred and fifty Giclee prints, which are on A3 high quality 270gsm GF Smith Mohawk Superfine paper. This paper deserves a mention for not only being sustainably sourced, but its produced by wind power! Each print is hand embossed with the HTW seal and they are all numbered.
So if you are struggling for ideas on what to get the cyclist in your life, or you fancy something a bit arty to grace the walls of your pain cave, check out the Hitting the Wall website.
