Sometimes you set out with the best of intentions… and then things go sideways… sometimes literally. Carrying the weight of the initial mountain bike review for CycleTechReview wasn’t really getting to me; in fact, I was looking forward to breaking new ground for the site.

 

I had a 6 hour cross country mountain bike race on the docket and thought that would be a perfect opportunity to pit a test bike, the Titus Rockstar Carbon 29er, against my trusty old 26” wheeled hardtail mountain bike, but then the latter had a mechanical on the day before the race, with no time to fix and no spare parts.     Blaming a bike for user error (especially on maiden voyage) is kinda weak….the motor on the bike is what makes it perform….thanks for the review.
