With the weather still not quite sure whether it’s summer or winter, Craft’s Featherlight Jacket and Vest should see you through all of Mother nature’s mood changes. We’ve got our hands on a couple and will let you know how they fair over the next few weeks.
Swedish company Craft produce some very technically advanced clothing and have a long background in alpine sports, so they know a thing or two about keeping warm and dry in less than perfect conditions. They are also the clothing suppliers for Radioshack; we’ll see if good enough for Fabian and the boys means good enough for you and your hard earned cash…

The latest addition to their range is the Performance Featherlight Jacket and Vest. These two items certainly live up to their name being very light but still incorporating plenty of performance features designed to keep you snug. Both items are manufactured from lightweight Polyester to keep them windproof, with an additional ‘Durable Water Repellent’ treatment applied to give some protection against light rain. Mesh panels are included to improve breathability. Whip them off when the temperature finally warms up and you should be able to stuff them into a pocket without a struggle – we’ll see.
Performance Bike Featherlight Vest
Craft cut the material for the Featherlight Jacket and Vest for a ‘perfect riding fit’, using elasticated mesh panels to aid fit and breathability. We’ll test to see if this helps us avoid any annoying flapping or overheating while pushing into that headwind from hell!
Both come in a variety of colours as well as male and female specific cuts. Look for a full review soon.
